I would try to collect like a real good, like at least five reviews. Get some proper reviews before making your decisions and try also not to let it change you too much in trying to get to know this new person that might be your supervisor. It's all about this connection that you need to have and the communication that needs to fit. So I wouldn't take one person's negativity effectively. One person's negative review effectively. That is really important to always loop it back to what you need and what you want.
