Imran Khan is comfortably Pakistan's most popular politician with elections due to be held this coming autumn. That ought to make him favourite to regain the premiership which he lost last year. In fact, Imran Khan is facing close to 200 charges and his PTI party is in disarray. Dozens of its senior figures have left following the tumultuous events of last May. Now it's unclear whether Mr Khan will be allowed to stand.
