The Importance of Leadership in Politics

In a place like America, where companies are afforded an educated and healthy workforce, does that company owe the country anything? Or does it just owe its own shareholders? What is your position on that and has your position changed since you ran those two companies? I would say no, but let me, maybe I can bring it back.
