The Arguments for Functionalism

functionalism is held near and dear to many people's hearts who really believe in this digital computer framing of the mind. But there are also arguments to be made against it in a much more practical sense. I do not think we have recreated a strong Artificial intelligence, so why is that maybe we got the math wrong? Maybe we haven't figured out the right code to run. It's just a bunch of very simple computations being processed Not engaging with quantum computers or any of these other new forms of technology. And Let's not get lost in complexity where we just say add complexity Magic happens.
