Assassin's Creed: The Third Crusade
Nur al-Din's protégé is a man called Saladin, who ends up taking control of Egypt. And that gives us the third crusade, which is where Assassin's Creed is set. The pope is said to have died of a heart attack when he heard the news and so Western Europe has to respond. You see, you've got a more united Muslim world. You've got a military genius in charge, Saladin. He's captured Jerusalem. So the third crusade is like a desperate scramble to try and reverse that. But there's some pretty useful people on the third crusade unlike the second.
