I don't think Mormon leaders are intentionally doing this. The net effect of that is to have the goods on you so that you feel awful, so that you need Jesus. But it's not just Jesus in modern prophets and modern scripture - or you're not going to the good place. It took Joseph Smith to actually canonize the curse of cane, dark skin as a curse in the book of Moses,. In the book of Abraham. And then it's Joseph Smith that puts it into the books of Abraham and Moses. So like Joseph made the scriptures extra racist. Like we're talking about deep, deep racism that has affected so many people. You don't have to apologize for it.
