i think too, like, maybe this sort of dynamic is intensified, or the experience of it is intensified, when you live some place that's really physically beautiful, like san francisco. Los angeles has some of this too. It's a weird juxtaposition to be in a place as gorgeous as San Francisco and then see all these unhoused people suffering there. So i don't know, it may beye, a stranger vantage from which to watch the crumbling of our institutions and structure. E mean, even with the beauty of nature, like going to a state park or something, there is like this sadness and dread underneath it,.
