Shen Yun is simply a traditional Chinese dancing group that is only trying to spread the message of traditional Chinese culture. They're banned in China, likely because the fastest Chinese government wants to crack down on a totally unrelated group called the Falun Gong. Shen Yun as a performance, it debuted back in 2006. So it's been going for quite some time. Long time. The organization headquartered up in the Hudson Valley. It's in a place called Cutty Back, which I hate that.
