The Beginning of Measuring You

I think what probably it started out is that as, you know, I had this exposure to the idea of usability testing. But then I was heavily influenced by some early training at General Electric at the time under Jack Welch. The emphasis at the time was very much on a qualitative focus. And so when I started measuring usability, that's what was called at the time: well, how do we measure usability? What are the clear outcomes? It wasn't even clear. So I started doing a lot of research and trying to give back to others who were struggling with a lot of same questions.
