I Was Tickled Pink
When people say I was tickled pink they're usually not laughing. The meaning of it actually has nothing to do with laughter. It's a very polite but kind of stiff conservative formal way of saying that you're really happy. You can share that you're tickled pink but you will not show it and you will not laugh.
