The Importance of a Comprehensive Exam

Sometimes patients are sent and I don't do anything because I'm not that worried or I've seen a lot of constitutional delay in my time. That's actually a lot of the times probably a physical exam or some monitoring is the first line. If there's some concerns about some growth failure, then at least sending a bone age can be helpful. But the endocrinologist is going to want to see that film, which means the family bringing it in on a CD because we always read them ourselves.
