Could you play a solo without hearing yourself at all and have it be coherent for the audience? I think so, you know, that kind of happened at the LA show that we did a few months ago. Over to the side of the stage and it just sounded like a mess up there because we all use in-ear monitors - what it actually sounds like on stage is pretty incoherent. But after the show my wife's cousin said that solo at the beginning of the show, incredible.
