Civic Civic Square: The Future of the Street and the Neighborhood
The street and the neighbourhood is where the crises converge. Civic Civic Square was born to interrogate the neighbourhood as a unit of social change more deeply. The scale of transition we need to go through requires infrastructure response. We have historic precedence of the street and the street level is a very structured transition. democratic access to tools, knowledge, spaces, resources and neighbourhood and street level was critical to those transitions but that's who we're based in.
