The Challenges the Media Industry Faces as It Tries to Decarbonize

There was a panel that was held in France last year, and two different calculators produced an emissions estimate that was different by a factor of five. So the problem with that is people lose faith in the data. People start saying, well, it's not possible to measure it. Therefore, we can't do anything about it. The second factor kind of comes down to data access. What can you publicly get your hands on? Which might be, again, very different parts of the value chain. I think those are the two big challenges because if you can simplify it, then you can start just kind of focusing and getting to a robust measurement.
