The Importance of the Sacraments
The liturgy is Jesus' own self-gift, his perfect worship. It's his prayer that he made to the Father on the cross. We actually are invited to participate in that prayer. And you see this all throughout the signs and symbols of the liturgies. They're trying to draw me into where Jesus has gone ahead with his own offering to the Father.
