After weeks of declining infections, corona virus cases are starting to rites once more. Official figures show that more than 300 and forty six thousand people tested positive in the last seven days. So as cases begin to increase again, just how worried should we be? From the guardian, i'm an a jagetea, setting in this week for madeline finley. And this is science weekly.

After falling for the past few weeks, the number of Covid cases in the UK is increasing once more. Since the easing of restrictions, scientists have been expecting an upwards trend in infections – but could other factors also be at work?
