The dominant climate discourses tend to focus on the cause of the problem being excess greenhouse gas emissions. But what loopholes are there with this type of framing that allow for certain elephants in the room to go unaddressed? And how might its reductive approach lead to qoonqut solutions that may even be destructive? The net neutral idea is functioning, i think, on two distinct time scales.
