The US Is the Loser in the Stablecoin Market
Stablecoins are still dollars, but they have no relationship to the regulated banking system here in the US. The market has expressed its desire for digital bear asset, final settlement online. We need a stablecoin bill passed which codifies how stablecoins can be issued in the United States and that gives a green light to the state trust model as a way to issue them.
