Getting a Seven in Vocab?

A lot of students don't even really look at the task and understand what it's about. To get a seven in vocab, you have to use some topic specific language,. You need to use some words that are particular to that. What do you like, how can students practice this? Like how can students try to think about what this graph means? Well, that's kind of difficult.
