The Importance of Induction in Knowledge Acquisition
Avocenna thinks we are capable of something that no non-human animal can do. This is thanks to our intellects, which as we saw have the job of grasping universals. God's case is not so different in that his self-knowledge is of a better object, namely himself and that it never ceases. All knowledge, in other words, is at least potentially accompanied by self-knowledge.
