Ibenhaldun: He is somebody who appreciates structural conditions. So he has a kind of concept of something like urban society, and what are the structures within it. And that's where he locates religion, and seeing the interplay between superstructural culture and ideology. In some ways, you might say that he sort of socializes a aristotle's you know, or at least invent a form of history that would conform to scientific or philosophical standards.
