The Heap Provides a Lot of Flexibility
In c you actually havea too low level functions to do this sort of thing. The heap does not enforce any sort of order in terms of alocation and deallocation of memory. So that that provides a lot of flexibility. And then when you don't beat it any more, you dealocate it or free it, basically give it back to the heap so that it can be reused for something else.
