Apple Watch SOCs Are Way Faster Than HomePod Minis
Apple Watch SOCs for this use are way faster than using a really old phone chip. Even the nicest Apple watches today only have 802 11 and n Wi-Fi because802 11 AC, I think requires like larger antennas and it's higher power. The watch usually does not use Wi-Fi to conserve battery power. Bluetooth is way slower than Wi-Fi. And in my experience with the Apple Watch, way less reliable as well.
