I wish in the 90s and 80s when I was at medical school someone sat me down literally on the first day almost and said do you know estrogen and probably testosterone in women are the most important hormones. It would have changed the shape of so much I'd done over the last 30 years. When I look back now and I think I was given quite a lot of misinformation as part of my training. Things like taking HRT will increase your risk of blood clot is factually wrong. If you have estrogen through the skin with my canized progesterone it doesn't increased your risk of clot, she says. She wants to improve access to educational resources because there's so much confusion
