The population of north korea is estimated at 24 to 25 million. An estimated 200 thousand people are in labor camps, or quan liso. You get into one of these in a couple of different ways and usually has to do with whether you are seen as loyal to the party. Collective punishment is unto three generations, which sounds almost biblical.
