Lord Hill's Opt-Out From the Single Currency

Tony Blair was unable to help resolve the conflict in Northern Ireland. He left Labour with a very strong economy which enabled them to increase spending on the public sector massively. Without him we probably would be in the euro because that opt-out was what then gave subsequent people things to work with.
