Fowler also reported that Jack had showed some unusual physical injuries including burns on the bottoms of his feet and a scar on his ankle above where a lump had appeared overnight. When the lump was biopsied Fowler claimed pathologists couldn't find out what it was so Jack was told it was being sent to the CDC in Atlanta for examination. But Fowler said that they looked into it and discovered that it had actually been sent to military pathologists in DC where an Air Force colonel examined it. I don't know what kind of proof Fowler had to back up this claim.
