Isaiah's Prophecy in Micah Chapter Two, Verses 1 to 5

Michaeh was a contemporary of the prophet isaiah, and this spoke to many of the same social and political realities. But in micah chapter four, verses one to five we see a passage that raises more immediate questions about the relationship between the two prophets. This is because the exact same prophecy is found in isaiah chapter two, verses two to four. We could conceivably argue that both were independently inspired to make a largely identical prophecy - but it isn't a popular position.
