For the far right movement that her father started a few decades ago, this is progress. There's going to be a lot of expectations for him to govern differently. If he is elected with another majority, like last time, then he will have the luxury of ignoring everyone else and doing whatever he wants. But i think that's what the opposition, both on the far right, with marine de ben, and on the far left, are really gearing up to try and have a different dynamic in the parliament than they had in the first term.

Emmanuel Macron has been elected for a second term as president of France, the EU will force Big Tech to police content online more aggressively after approving a major piece of legislation, and Sri Lanka is working with the major multilateral agencies on ways to salvage the country from the current economic meltdown
