We would be better off entirely swiching to self driving cars, far fewer people would die. Complex systems are fragile and we should never underestimate the calamities that can be created when complex systems blow up. I am not prepared to say that sedios are an example of this phenomenon, but they very well could be. And their existence took the two thousand seven, two thousand eight financial crisis to a whole new level,. despite the fact that most people had never even heard of them.
