The Benefits of Psychedelics for People Nearing Death
Stephen Hawking says we generally without exception tend to die as we lived. The idea of benefit or optimal outcomes is still needs to be wondered about, he adds. He warns that in a death phobic culture the sudden uptake on hallucinogens and so on when it comes to dying people might subsequently be revealed. "I won't be surprised within a generation or two that the sudden uptake on hallucinogens" will become more common for those who are close to death.
