The Armada's Visit to Tidor
On November 8, the Armada dropped anchor at Tidor. The local ruler was a Muslim named Manzur or more commonly Al Manzur. He treated the fleet well, sending many gifts, as well as food and drink to the ships. They traded everything they had brought, cloth, hatchets, knives, mirrors,. glass cups, scissors.
