Synthesis Is a Great Oxygen Producer
Synthesis is a great oxygen producer, assuming you've got carbon dioxide and water readily available. In the absence of animal life breathing on oxygen, we might see a rich sino bacteria lay on a planet push out a thousand gigo tons of oxygen a year. But that seems optimistic, since we have no oxygen saturation already in place. This instead implies using options like n out of existing water ice or rock and sequestering things which would re absorb their oxygen. So i think even if transplanetr engineer sino bacteria did amazingly well on a new word, then we're likely stood talking a minimum time lines of millions of years to get an atmosphere.
