New law makes it easier to get your stuff out of a self storage unit. It also means that getting evicted from a storage unit isn't the same as being evicted from housing. A professor at tufts argues that we shouldn't be trying to use such a tax to serve as a new revenue source for building roads. He says instead, to encourage electric vehicle use and reduce omissions, the gas tax should be the only target.
