Naaman's Prisoner of War

Aromian raiders had invaded the land of Israel and among their captives was a young girl who had been given to Naaman's wife as a maid. One day the girl said to her mistress, I wish my master would go to see the prophet in Samaria, for he would heal him of his leprosy. In this culture, this would have unfortunately been common for a young female prisoner of war. We do not know whether or not she was being used in this way as a concubine and prostitute. Whatever costume or uniform we try to cover it with the leper consciousness will always ultimately bleed through.
