I try to avoid raising the hope that you can instantly make a huge change. I think what the research really shows is that actually it's a step-by-step incremental process and often we'll only do it going through a kind of journey. But re-learning certain skills, certain thinking patterns will prove to be really useful eventually but you can't expect that the pain will immediately go away on the first day that you apply that.
