In other colonies around the world, british colonialists are dealt with the native people peacefully. But when they came to australia, the indigenous population led a nomadic life style. Nobody really owned the land, so there wasn't really anybody to negotiate with. So the european settlers took the land without negotiation, no payment. There were no battles against armies. And because there were so many different tribes amongst the indigenous so the europeans came in and killed them on large scales. This occurred for a long time. The last large massacre of 32 indigenous was only in 19 28. That doesn't seemto long ago. I mean, it's pretty wild to realize
