Is the Universe Infinite?

We typically assume that the universe is infinite because it just currently feels like the most natural thing, right? Cause i've seemed like images of maybe the universe is like a doughnut or a cone. The hard part for me to wrap a non-infinite universe is, like, what's outside of that don't utter con?! I can't! My brain starts to break down when i try to think wl what would be outside of a universe,. What would be that? Nothing. But the fascinating thing is that there's only one answer we could possibly know: It doesn't have an edge.
