The unions don't do themselves any favors, he says. The president of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Treynman was actually defeated shortly after this contract was implemented. And it looks like they'll be more upheaval to come for sure in the coming months in the rail labor scene. But there's definitely a much higher consciousness of rail workers that the contract is a shitty deal.
