Is There a Career in Board Games?

I was really enthused about board games. And then I ended up going to art school. So two or three years later when I was finally out of art school with a second bachelor's degree in illustration, those initial redesign projects got me like a couple hits from publishers looking to they just needed an artist. My first big gig was Catacombs. It was because I had done like a catacombs sticker redesign that the publisher had seen and was like, would you like to do our third edition of the game coming out this year? And I was like, yes, please. But really I would say my career took off when I took those initial projects that I'd completed and
