That's a real danger to day. So i would say, jonathan, at the moment we do seem so fractured and polarized that it's almost difficult to imagine reason debate about the commongood. But that challenge, i think, sets a project. And i think the project needs to begin with trying to build up, from institutions within civil society, the capacity of citizens to reason together about thecommon good. We're not born with them. We need to learn them.
