Daily mail published a story saying that one in five g ps only works 26 hours. This is following on, of course, from all this rhetoric around persistent staffing in the n h s putting patient care at risk. The other big story involved in general practice was that rishy sunac, conservative m p and potentially the next prime minister, has said he will introduce a ten pound fine for any one who repeatedly misses their appointments. I'm generally morally against the idea of charging people for their g p appointments. And it's going to be up to the practicet to decide if they actually want to find someone. i don't like confrontation at the best of times, so this is not
