The Role of Cardio in Muscle Growth

A study conducted by scientists at McMaster University found that cardio may even enhance muscle growth. Researchers had 14 active young people do 345 minute moderate intensity cycling workouts per week using one of their legs. Other research has shown that cardio plus weightlifting produces more muscle growth than just weightlifting alone.
