The Micro in Investing Always Trumps the Mat
Berkshire Hathaway is highly cashed up. Doesn't sound like they've been making any major investments even when the markets fell 30 some odd percent which probably talks to their testament of discipline. They have been buying Berkshire's talk and he said that he doesn't think that the 130 plus billion cash file that Berkshire has is that big in this environment. I don't, no one has a crystal ball but I would say that what I've always focused on as an investor is forget the macro. The macro is too hard to figure out.
