Are Sandhill Cranes an Issue in Airfields?
Do you ever get a snowy owl that you've banded in Alaska that shows up on an airfield in the lower 48? Not necessarily out of Alaska, but there are times that we will ban something, relocate them and then we'll get picked up at another airfield because again, it's just they love that wide open flat area. Are sandhill cranes an issue? Yeah. So I have them on occasion, but I have heard, you know, in other states that they can come across in like large blocks and stuff. You're working with your airfield operations, your airfield managers. It's a whole team of people that are doing this.
