Developing Your American Persona
I found that it can be really hard for people to break out of what feels comfortable for them. Our voice is our expression, you know. And one of the exercises i have my s do is come up with, like, their back story. If they were an american, what is their American persona? And i challenge them to kind of think of themselves in a totally new way. I find when they do this that their body starts to free up and their sound starts toFree up.
