In 2017, after rail donors delivered more than $6 million to GOP candidates, the Trump administration rescinded part of a rule aimed at making better braking systems widespread on the nation's rails. The final measure ended up narrowly focused on the transport of crude oil and exempting trains carrying other combustible materials. And we asked we had a chance to speak with Nick Sordor, who is a video journalist in East Palestine now for a number of days.
