The Importance of Separating the Artist From the Artist

The second half of this podcast deals with a perhaps delicate topic. How does that affect the art in your mind? And what is the relationship here? I consider myself to be on one end of the scale, which is consider the art as its own thing. If it is good art, then it doesn't matter what it's about or who it comes from. It is good because of itself.
