The Truth About Gaslighting
The term gaslighting originated from 1944 from film Gaslight, which is a husband systematically tormented his wife by convincing her that she was insane. And it can be defined as a combination of brainwashing, psychological bullying, emotional abuse for the purpose of domination and control. Many gaslighters can become highly aggressive when called on their falsehoods and lies; they are making us all crazy. As the gaslighter continuously instigates marginalization towards targeted individuals and groups, some victims may suffer the gaslight tea fatigue.
