Can You Outrun a Flashlight?

If the expansion of the universe continues accelerating, then we will never see anything further away than 62 billion light years. We don't understand why that expansion is accelerating and what's doing it. And so it could stop and it could turn around. It could shrink the universe so that the things that were always invisible to us now become visible. So that's one way to answer the question, can you outrun a flashlight?
